The port of Veselí nad Moravou, situated on the Bata Canal, is a great starting point for boat trips on this historic waterway. Visitors can enjoy the beauty of the surrounding countryside during the cruise, and have the opportunity to rent a boat for their own exploration. Ideal for relaxing and discovering the region from a different perspective.
Velká Javořina is the highest peak of the White Carpathians (970 m above sea level) and is located on the Czech-Slovak border. It offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, including Pálava, the Little Carpathians and the Low Tatras. At the top you will find a monument to reciprocity and a transmitter that dominates the surroundings. It is accessible by hiking trails suitable for families with children. An ideal place for nature lovers and viewers.

Archaeoskanzen Modrá
Archaeoskanzen Modrá is a unique outdoor museum that depicts the life of the Slavs in the period of Great Moravia. Visitors can admire the reconstructed historical buildings, craft workshops and get to know the everyday life of the inhabitants through interactive exhibitions.
The Basilica of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and St. Cyril at Velehrad is an important pilgrimage site, known for its Baroque architecture and history connected with the missionary activities of Saints Cyril and Methodius. This beautiful church is part of a former Cistercian monastery and today serves as a spiritual centre for visitors.

Veselí nad Moravou Observatory
The observatory in Veselí nad Moravou offers great experiences for astronomy lovers with regular star and planet sightings. Audiovisual programmes and expert explanations are also available.
The Museum of Folk Distilleries in Vlčnov presents a unique collection of more than thirty stills and other artefacts connected with the traditional production of slivovitz and other fruit spirits. Visitors can learn about the history of alcohol distillation in Slovácko and see the exhibits, including some seized during illegal distillation.

Chateau and Chateau Cellars Strážnice – possibility of tasting
The chateau cellars in Strážnice, dating back to the end of the 14th century, are one of the most important wine-growing gems of South Moravia. They offer regular tours combined with tasting of fine wines directly in the historical cellars, which have preserved the original Gothic masonry. Wine tastings are possible in the adjacent wineries.
The municipal museum with archaeological findings in Ostrožská Lhota offers a fascinating insight into the history of the region. The exhibition includes artefacts from the older Stone Age to the modern era, including replicas of prehistoric vessels and a model of the village from 1827.A unique exhibit is a reinstalled female skeletal grave from the late Stone Age.

Skanzen Strážnice – The Museum of the Village of South-East Moravia is a large open-air complex that presents traditional folk buildings and the way of life in Slovácko. Visitors can admire more than 60 objects, including vineyard buildings, water mills and craft workshops, and learn about the rich culture and history of Southeast Moravia.

Petrov – Plže
Petrovské Plže is a picturesque village conservation area consisting of about 80 historic wine cellars from the 15th to 19th centuries. Typical white facades with blue plinths and ornaments create a unique atmosphere that can be enjoyed while walking or tasting local wines.
Ski Park Kyjov is a smaller ski resort suitable for beginners and families with children. It offers groomed slopes and basic facilities for winter recreation in the Kyjov area.

Čertoryje u Kněždubu Nature Reserve is a unique area of flowery meadows and rare orchids in the heart of the White Carpathians. It is one of the most valuable natural sites in the Czech Republic.
The Isabelia Bonsai Museum in Staré Město near Uherské Hradiště is the largest bonsai museum in Central and Eastern Europe, where you can admire trees up to 300 years old. The complex includes a Japanese garden with ponds, a collection of suiseki stones and a sales area where you can buy bonsai and bonsai growing supplies.

Mill Kuželov
The windmill in Kuželov is a unique technical monument of the Dutch type, built in 1842. After reconstruction, it serves as a museum of the Technical Museum in Brno, where visitors can admire the original grinding equipment and an exhibition of Upper Bohemian living and farming from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
The Kunovice Aviation Museum offers a fascinating exhibition of more than 20 aircraft, most of which were manufactured directly in the local aircraft factory. Visitors can see legendary machines such as the Tupolev Tu-154M, which brought Czech hockey players back from Nagano, or the government Yak-40, on board of which Pope John Paul II travelled. The museum allows you to look into the interiors of the aircraft and soak up the authentic atmosphere of aviation.

The Jan Amos Comenius Museum in Uherský Brod offers a modern exhibition „On the Stage of the World“, which interactively presents the life and work of the Teacher of Nations. Visitors can explore Comenius‘ world of thought and learn about the history and traditions of the Uherský Brod region.
The Museum of Slovaks in Uherské Hradiště is one of the most important ethnographic museums in Moravia, founded in 1895. It offers rich exhibitions dedicated to folk culture, history and art of the Moravian Slovácko region, including traditional costumes, crafts and folklore.

Kovozoo – Old Town near Uherské Hradiště
The Kovozoo in Staré Město near Uherské Hradiště is a unique zoo where animals are created from scrap metal. Visitors can admire more than 250 life-size animals, including a lion, gorilla, cheetah, horse, bison and rhinoceros.
Milotice Castle, called the pearl of southeast Moravia, is a Baroque jewel with richly decorated interiors and extensive gardens. It offers unique costume tours, during which visitors can rent historical clothing and thus be transported to the time of the nobility. The grounds also include a chateau café and a French garden, ideal for relaxing after a tour.

Buchlovice Castle is a baroque pearl located near Uherské Hradiště. It offers visitors tours of the historic interiors, a large English park and a unique collection of fuchsias. Cultural events and exhibitions are also held on the premises.
